Active or glycogen synthetase I activities are the same in normal and psoriatic epidermis. The amount of radioactive glucose that is incorporated into glycogen by normal and psoriatic keratome slices is also the aforementioned. Despite the increased amount of glycogen in the psoriatic epidermis, the turnover rate of this glycogen would seem to be no different than normal.
